Graduate Program in Toxicology
The Graduate Program in Toxicology, which is characterized as an interdisciplinary science program, was established in 1982 to provide instruction for master’s degree students. Later in 1992, it began to accept doctoral students.
The program is the first international graduate program in Toxicology originated in Thailand with a clear objective “to produce qualified researchers and academic personnel in Toxicology with teaching and learning processes of international standard”. The curriculum was designed by a group of highly qualified academic staff at Mahidol University. The program then became part of the Center of Excellence on Environmental Health and Toxicology (EHT), which was established in 2009, with funding support from the Royal Thai Government. The collaborating institutes of EHT are Mahidol University (MU, lead university), Chulabhorn Research Institute (CRI), Burapha University (BUU), Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), and Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI).
